Man, a lot of things sure have happened since my last post. My M4 was totaled, I bought another BMW, I was offered a job selling insurance, I quit my job at South Bay BMW, I passed my insurance license test, then I turned down the insurance job as well, and then some.
All of those events in themselves will make complete blog posts alone, so I won’t get too into depth on them now as I will return to them later. I promise.
These last few days I really noticed what I have enjoyed the most, and that is freedom. For the past five months I was totally tied down to 9-5 (or longer) jobs where I had to be a certain place at a certain time as well as do certain things. Now that I am free from those jobs, it really has set in at just how awesome it is to be your own boss.
You don’t have to answer to anyone, or take anything from anyone. It rocks.
Sure there are the drawbacks. No structure is provided, and thus I have to be more resourceful. But, after these months with the different jobs I have worked, I have picked up new skills that I know I can implement much better than how I was doing it before.
This is why I am coming back to working on the internet again. Working as a blogger, streamer, youtuber, etc. is a brutal gig in its own way, as it is globally competitive, but the amazing thing about it is that you get to be your own boss.
And that is priceless.
It took not having any freedom to really realize how great it is. Now it’s time to never let go of it.
