The Grind is Real, and It’s paying off

It’s been a while since my last post. Since then I have moved from Oregon to Los Angeles. It took me a while to get up and streaming consistently again as I went to TwitchCon, caught up with all my old friends (I’m from LA), and after much effort finally got my internet situation all figured out.

Now that that is all over with I have gotten back on the grind of streaming harder than I ever have before in my two years plus of streaming. Over 40 hours each week you can find me online streaming at twitch.tv/fb_lurker and so far it has been a blast. So many new people have discovered my stream and have given me support through their views, follows, subs, and tips. It has been unreal. Shout out to all the OGs who are still watching as well! SarcasticSatan came in today and did !followed and it showed that he had been following for over 2 years and 3 weeks. That’s pretty damn cool.

While there are have been many phases in my streaming career this is the best. The show is finally on a consistent schedule and I am putting in more hours than ever before. I have switched up my games though and this time around you can find me playing Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

The game is extremely fun to stream and play because unlike other FPS games it is dynamic. Because of the reinforce-able and destructible environment the game is different almost every time you play it. And with new Operators being introduced every few months the game continues to change as the potential combinations increases with each release. On top of that the game is growing as more players are not only transitioning to the PC client from console, but also from other FPS games as well. Rainbow 6 started off slowly, but over time it is proving itself to be a contender.

I watched some of the Pro League Matches today live from Sao Paulo, and it was riveting. It was my first time watching professional rainbow six play and it definitely won’t be my last. Seeing how Pros approached the games was very interesting, especially their Operator picks as well. Capitao was getting much more play than I expected, I am definitely going to have to give him a shot sometime soon.

My apologies for not posting for such a long time, my plan is to start posting much more regularly, at the very least once a week. Thanks for reading everyone, more posts coming soon.
